Visit U.S. SiteUKRI invites Astroscale to promote AI capabilities to government staff
The UK’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) all staff event took place at the BEIS Conference Facility in London on Monday, July 2, 2018. Astroscale was invited by the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) to exhibit at the event along with a small group of other companies working in AI and other innovative technology areas.
The event attracted over 300 staff throughout the day. Astroscale, partnering with the Satellite Applications Catapult was given the opportunity to inform BEIS employees of the pioneering technologies being developed to remove space debris and the creation of the new In-Orbit Servicing Facility in Harwell. It was also an opportunity to inform people of the amazing new technologies being created in the space sector and our increasing reliance on satellite data.
