The world's first commercial mission to demonstrate the core technologies necessary for debris docking and removal.

Purpose / Objective

ELSA-d consisted of two spacecrafts: a servicer satellite and a client satellite, launched stacked together. The servicer satellite has been developed to safely remove debris objects from orbit, equipped with RPO technologies and magnetic docking mechanism.
